During my annual visit to Pretoria, the first thing I do is eat at this magnificent restaurant. The service is impeccable. And the food is too.

Fantastic atmosphere with a good variety on the menu,also has an upstairs area perfect for that more private and romantic atmosphere. Excellent service

I had great fun and enjoy their food

Had the best sushi of my life at Fireroom CastleGate. I know this is abit on the pricier side however for special occasions this place is just the place to go. I do wish they would have more combo's/ platter options on the sushi menu as we took the CastleGate platter which was more than enough for 2 people sharing however more options would be nice. The pickled ginger was not as fresh as it could have been but other than that absolutely the sushi and presentation was beautiful.

The food is Gourmet

We have been to Fireroom many many times, and no complains. This restaurant has great service and fantastic food. The service is always friendly and efficient. Be prepared to wait for the food a little, they prepare it with flame and love. I suggest make a booking just to be safe, castle gate also becomes quite busy, nevermind Fireroom. The bathrooms are limited, only one on the first floor and the rest on the second floor. The tomahawk steak is not the best I've had, it tasted quite burnt and I've definitely had quite better, juicier tomahawks. But the sushi, wow. The Halloumi crunch is some of my favourite! My boyfriend loves the oysters and my friends enjoyed their steak. I would come back every time!
